Dr. Joseph Fishkin is a Board-Certified Comprehensive Ophthalmologist. He treats all ages, and specializes in all aspects of eye care, including cataract surgery, contact lenses, glaucoma and eye infections. He is a multiple-year winner of both the Patients' Choice award, and the Most Compassionate Doctor award, a distinction shared with fewer than 3% of the nation's doctors.
Dr. Fishkin completed his undergraduate education at Yeshiva University in New York, and was then admitted to Chicago Medical School, where he was awarded a research fellowship. He completed his eye surgery training at NYU and the Manhattan Eye, Ear, and Throat Hospital.
Dr. Fishkin has served as medical technology consultant for a variety of medical internet companies and has been involved in the development of award-winning software, devices, and websites. He draws on his technological expertise to ensure that the latest developments in ophthalmology are made available for his patients.
Dr. Fishkin has lectured to physician, patient, and hospital groups on a variety of topics, including diabetes and the eye, and the proper management of eye emergencies. He has given corporate lectures at the headquarters of Google, JP Morgan, and other major corporations.

Dr. Fishkin is an avid runner and enjoys competing in marathons and half-marathons. He and his wife Lisa are proud of their two sons, two daughters, and their young granddaughter.
